New Concept Art Released at D23 Expo

The Walt Disney Company released exciting news, that's coming to EPCOT in the next few years, at the D23 Expo 2019!

The ever-changing Epcot, will include a Journey of Water interactive walk through maze inspired by The Disney Movie Moana, the Walt Disney Imagineering Presents the Epcot Experience center, and even a new park logo. Here’s a look at the overall concept art released.

A quick overview, show's a new Food and Beverage concept taking over the Electric Umbrella. Mouse Gear will also be getting an overhaul and remodel, As far as outdoor spaces are concerned, we’ll see the addition of a new Festival Center, as well as a new EPCOT garden. In keeping with the outdoor garden feel, the Journey of Water trail will wind park guests over to The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion. In the middle of World Showcase Lagoon, you have the premiere of “EPCOT Forever” to be superseded by “A Celebration of Disney Music” in May of 2020.

The reinvention of EPCOT will include Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana.” This first-ever experience based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios hit film, “Moana,” will let guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.

Disney told those in attendance at the D23 Expo "Also at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are big plans for a multi-year transformation of Epcot, with new experiences that will make the park more Disney, more family, more timeless and more relevant to the millions of guests who visit each year."
